Job Description:
- Development of computational tools and applications
- Optimization of logistics in waste management and other areas
- Design and implementation of algorithms and heuristic approaches
- Mathematical programming and statistical data processing from real operations
- Coordination of team members and students
- Creation of scientific publications, professional studies, and assessments
Qualifying requirements:
- Postgraduate education in process engineering
- At least five publications in Q1 journals
- English at B2 level
- Practical experience with applied operational research – processing extensive data from real operations, model design, implementation, and testing
- Practical experience in waste logistics – the entire processing chain, including collection, transportation, and processing
- Excellent computer literacy, knowledge of computational software such as GAMS, STATISTICA
- Knowledge of version control system Git
- Experience in web application development
- Familiarity with MariaDB database and backend programming in Python
- Experience in team management
