Postdoctoral Position in Radiochemistry/Cardiac Imaging

The research project will focus on delineating sex-specific aspects of cardiac sympathetic nervous activity and cardiac remodeling with age and will include pharmacological characterization of bioorganic molecules for cardiac sympathetic nervous activity, radiolabelling with carbon-11 and fluorine-18 as well as in vivo CMR and PET imaging in mice including image acquisition, reconstruction, and data analysis.
The applicant should be a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a strong experience in radiochemistry and in vivo animal imaging (preferably with a focus on cardiac PET/CMR imaging and translational research) as well as proven record of fund raising and publications in peer reviewed journals.
The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to critically contribute to the productivity of our multidisciplinary team by performing experiments, writing papers and grant proposals and supervising other members of the team.
Excellent English language skills (written and oral).
