Postdoctoral Researcher - Bioinformatics/Statistics

The postholder would be involved in the development and implementation of methods including those predictive of treatment outcome from transcriptomic data. In addition, it is expected that they would play a significant role in the supervision of statistical and bioinformatic analyses performed by DPhil and Clinical research fellows.
You will hold a PhD in statistical genetics, computer science, bioinformatics or other closely related area, with extensive experience in next-generation sequencing (ideally RNA-seq data and/or ChIP-seq). You will be have demonstrable experience in manipulating genome-scale datasets and in employing employing machine learning algorithms (ideally with experience in Bayesian methodology).
Demonstrable experience of student supervision will be advantageous.
This is a full-time post is available for 3 years in the first instance.
