The candidate is expected to play a central role in recruiting and supervising pre- and post-doctoral fellows as well as in the teaching of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Molecular Nutrition. The position is open from October 1st 2017.
The applicant should hold a PhD degree in molecular biology or protein biochemistry, or a closely related field. The successful candidate will have strong background in structural and functional characterization of proteins in food. The applicant must possess an excellent scientific track record, strong teaching skills and an excellent ability to attract external funding.
The successful candidate is also expected to establish strong collaborations with industrial partners and therefore candidates that have managed to take a research project from discovery and characterization to application will be preferred.
