Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Biology and Virotherapy

We seek an outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher to join Professor Seymour’s virotherapy research group in the Department of Oncology. The primary focus of the appointee will be to design lytic adenoviruses with potent anticancer activities. Major areas of focus will be in understanding how oncolytic viruses exploit the cancer phenotype, how they behave in the cancer microenvironment, and how they can engender a strong anticancer immune response.
You will have, or be working towards, a PhD in virology, immunology, biotechnology or molecular or cell biology, along with significant experience in molecular virology and/or immunological research. You will have robust knowledge of molecular engineering and/or immunological techniques, along with experience with lytic viruses and tissue culture. You will have a publication record of primary scientific papers, as well as a proven track record of successful grant writing.
