MAIN ACTIVITIES

Our research aims at finding new therapeutic opportunities for colorectal cancer patients. We aims at:

  • testing for the first time the hypothesis that therapeutic inactivation of DNA repair pathways in cancer cells can be exploited for patient benefit by reawakening an anti-tumor immune response.
  • characterizing tumor evolution and cancer cell plasticity to identify new targets and therapeutic approaches to prevent tumor recurrence.

Candidates will develop custom methods or will perform standard pipelines to pursue these aims and will have the opportunity to collaborate with several projects leaded by current members of the lab.
