An appointment as Senior Lecturer in Bioenergy Systems is vacant at the Department of Energy and Technology. SLU, Uppsala. The Department's research focuses on how biobased production and energy systems can contribute to a sustainable society. The department offers a stimulating work environment with great competence in both basic and applied knowledge. System analysis of biobased energy systems is an important and comprehensive part of the activities. We are involved in a large number of research projects nationally and internationally in the field. In addition, we have an important role in, among other things, the Master Programme in Energy Systems engineering, which is given in cooperation with Uppsala University.
The subject of employment is bioenergy systems, focusing on environmentally friendly and resource-efficient systems for production, supply, conversion and end-use of biomass to energy. The subject is system-oriented, that is, it is the characteristics of the entire chain from raw material supply to end-use that is in focus. The environmental impact of energy systems and methodologies for environmental systems analysis are key aspects of the subject.
