This is a 1 year appointment as a young researcher. Planned research efforts will focus on the development of ionic liquids for application in Green Chemistry. The project itself bears flexibility and potentially can involve the development of ionic liquids for lubrication, as magnetic and luminescent materials, organic lighting, for separation and electrodeposition, as responsive materials.
The position requires the development, synthesis and characterization of ionic liquids, interpretation of data and scientific presentation.
Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research. Applicants are expected to hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related.
In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills.
The successful candidate must have documented experience in synthetic inorganic, organometallic, organic or polymer chemistry. The candidate must document the experience through publication in renown, peer-reviewed scientific journals and/or a PhD thesis in the relevant field. Applicants must have strong communication skills with excellent knowledge in English, both written and spoken.
