Your future responsibilities

Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in an innovative and international environment?

We are looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team of Microsystems experts. This is a unique opportunity to manage cutting-edge R&D projects in various application areas, focusing on piezoelectric microsystem technologies and integrated photonics technologies.

Your future responsibilities include:

• Take on full project responsibilities by continuously assessing the progress targeting given timeframe and budget;
• Organization of work, alignment of resources and coordinate the project team as well as external collaborators;
• Definition and controlling of project KPIs/objectives together with the project owners;
• Reporting internally to Head of Research Unit and Head of Research Division and externally to customers and partners;
• Risk management and -mitigation;
• Management of multi-firm consortia (typically up to 10 partners) collaborating in research projects both nationally and internationally;
• Keep the overview and manage technical interdependencies of several project responsibilities;
• Project documentation and reporting including internal and external communication support documents;
• Support of the project acquisition and thereby being constantly involved in the future research topics to come.

Your profile

• A degree in Physics, Engineering or similar fields. PhD is a plus;
• A solid technical understanding of microtechnology and MEMS (in particular piezoelectric microsystem technologies and integrated photonics technologies are a plus);
• At least 5 years experience as a project manager preferably in the area of microelectronics;
• A proactive mindset with strong moderation and coordination skills;
• The ability to analyze and understand complex project situations, making alleviation suggestions;
• Convincing communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent English skills; German as a plus.
