Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Innovation and Applicative Research Manager, you bring your expertise in organic chemistry to the development of modified biopolymers for innovative applications.

• Contribute to the elaboration of the strategy, define concepts, set up partnership, write publications/patents, to meet the need of the market for innovative applications in biomedical fields;
• Define processes for synthesis polymers synthesis and prepare scaleup and validation of these processes;
• Define the operational roadmap, budget and workload associated;
• Be technical referent/expert in chemistry;
• Operational management in the lab.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, experience in industrial field (thesis with an industrial company or postdoc in the industry);
• Experience with polymers, knowledge of design of experiment;
• Possess good organizational, analytical and technical writing skills;
• Effective team player, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks and deliver high quality results under tight timeline;
• Self-motivated, passionate and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with good communication skills.
