Your Responsibilities
- Research in the field of applied mathematics with special emphasis on partial differential equations;
- Collaboration in the Applied Analysis working group;
- Independent organisation of courses, supervision of students and holding of examinations;
- Participation in organisational and administrative tasks.
Your Profile
- Doctoral degree in a mathematical field of study;
- Very good knowledge in the analysis of partial differential equations;
- Knowledge of modelling and numerics of partial differential equations (desirable);
- A number of relevant publications appropriate to the curriculum vitae;
- Very good knowledge of English;
- High personal motivation for scientific excellence;
- High interest in diverse fields of application, e.g. molecular biology, life sciences, physics;
- Team, organisational and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Didactic aptitude for independent teaching.
