The announced position will be placed the research program Air, Water and Landscape Science that brings together research and education in hydrology, meteorology, environmental analysis and physical geography. This position will focus on meteorology.
Teaching, research and administration. Teaching duties include course responsibility and course administration and supervision of second- and third-cycle students. The teacher is expected to teach courses with a focus on meteorology at basic and advanced level within the bachelors and masters programs in geosciences as well as the civil engineering program in Environment and Water Technology. Supervision and examination of student theses within the education programs will be included. The research part will aim to strengthen and develop the research profile of meteorology within the Department of Earth Sciences. Follow developments within the subject area and the development of society in general that is important for the work at the university.
