The INM’s research group Materials-Host Interactions develops tissue models and methodologies to assess the safety and performance of new biomaterials and to reduce and/or replace animal testing.
We seek a motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop the first human cornea-on-chip system that models the main layers of the corneal tissue, to be used in ophthalmic drug research.
You have:
- a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or related fields;
- experience with organ-on-chip devices, biological barriers or 3D cell culture;
- creativity, flexibility and problem-solving mentality.
