Technician Protein Biochemistry - Zerial Group

HT - Human Technopole

Milan, Italy

Job description

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: July 13th, 2024

Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute created and supported by the Italian Government to develop innovative strategies for improving human health. HT comprises five Centres: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centres work together to enable interdisciplinary research and create an open and collaborative environment that will help promote life science research nationally and internationally.

About the lab

The Zerial Group works on endocytosis - from its molecular mechanisms to implications in cell and tissue organisation. Its interests range from the assembly and functional characterisation of the endosomal fusion machinery to establishing hepatocyte cell polarity and liver tissue structure and function. The Group uses a unique interdisciplinary approach combining biochemical and biophysical methods with advanced light microscopy, cell biology and computer-aided three-dimensional (3D) tissue reconstruction to investigate the organisation and function of the mouse and human liver tissue.

The Zerial Group is seeking one highly motivated technician with a solid background in protein biochemistry to join its interdisciplinary team of molecular cell biologists, biochemists, biophysicists, and computer scientists.
