Postdoc: Electron-induced Damage Mechanisms in SEM Imaging

Work Activities

The goal of the project is to learn more about the possible detrimental effects of electrons in scanning electron microscopy for metrology applications, on materials used in the semiconductor industry. As a Postdoctoral Researcher you will use state of the art tools to unravel and quantify the physical changes induced in materials by electron irradiation You will also determine the extent to which this damage can be compared with light-induced damage.

Qualifications

You need to meet the requirements for a doctors-degree and must have research experience in a non-Dutch academic environment.

You have a PhD in Physics or Chemical Physics and have experience with SEM, lasers and an affinity with semiconductor materials. You are an independent researcher and have good project management skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills (in English) are required.
