Post-Doc Researcher - Nanostructures and Optical Materials

The Nanostructures and Optical Materials group of the Department of Heterogeneous Catalysis is looking for a motivated post-doc researcher (f/m/d) with expertise in materials synthesis, optics, or optical spectroscopy to lead our efforts in fabricating and exploring materials with novel properties that have an impact both fundamentally and technologically. Especially materials that allow for the development of novel memory and computing technologies will be investigated.

The main research topics in the research group are currently:

  • Iontronics;
  • Spintronics;
  • Opto-optical materials;
  • Synthesis, characterization, modification, electronic and optical application of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A PhD in physics, materials science, chemistry, or related fields;
  • Expertise in an experimental project involving materials synthesis and optical characterization.
